Wonder what it feels like to run on terra firma...

Ironman 70.3 LonestarGuess i will find out again in April.
Oh I will get some practice in Tucson, but I am totally stoked for this race. Or practice race or the chance to be outside. My sister lives in Houston and is doing the OLY. So i will sherpa for her saturday and she will sherpa for me sunday.
My nephew will come along and play on water slides and hopefully make me laugh as i run in circles around Moody Gardens in the Texas heat. No complaints from me.
Good times to come!

Sounds like a blast. Sherpa duty is so critical. Nice to have a sherpa swap with Sis..

Sounds like a fantastic weekend for you and your sister! How cool that you get to exchange sherpa duties and cheer each other on.

After you mentioned Postural Restoration about a month ago I tried looking it up in my area without success. My current theory on my hip is an overactive hip flexor (maybe RF?) and inhibited glutes. We worked a lot on glute strength in PT and while I gained some strength, the most significant weakness detected during the post-eval was my left glute and hamstrings. I have been doing single leg bridges, but I am having a hard time getting that left glute to really work...I am starting to think that I compensate a lot with other muscle groups. For example, after a recent trip to the gym where I did the squat machine (the one where you lay down), the following day I was sore in my right glute but not my left. It is like my left glute did nothing!
