The Yard

In response to Beth's great post on the CLUB, Rich and I went in search of the greek yogurt. I am not a fan of Sam's, and when i saw the bargain deal they had on this and on lots of other packaged and um...well...less than appetizing things, I knew my plan to keep shopping at the coop for my organic fruits and veggies and local grass fed ( when possible) meats, poultry would stick. I actually dropped Rich off and headed back into town for produce.

Then again we got some organic blueberries and a pinnapple, and our yogurt..oh and toilet paper...so we didnt cave and get this......Are you serious? People buy that? Not to sound all high and healthy, but grossssssssss.....

Look for the Icelandic yogurt!!! While I think Greek yogurt is very very good, I've found the Siggi's is even better! The orange and ginger flavor is to die for.

Yard-O-Beef. Classic. Ugh. I saw a frozen bag in the freezer section of my grocery store that (not kidding) said "Chicken parts". I was like, Really? Does anyone actually eat that???

Yard-O-Beef? *shiver* Thanks, but I'll stick to the fresh summer sausage, etc. that we get from my cousins in southern Minnesota.

Peerfeect! YOu know how I love beef... but that is kind of disgusting! If it doesn't taste good you can always use it as fish bait when the lakes finally become unfrozen right?

I don't know anyone who buys that but I'm sure someone out there does.
